Welcome to Shinboku Karate. These Terms & Conditions outline the use of our services and participation in our classes. By engaging with our services, you agree to these terms.
Enrolment and Payment
- Enrolment Confirmation: Enrolment in a class is completed via the online booking system an confirmed upon arrival at the dojo.
- Payment: Payment is made at the door upon entry. The fee is £3 per session for children and £4 per session for adults.
- Licences: Full-time students are required to purchase an annual licence. The licences renew on April 1st and pay for the cost of insurance for the instructors. The fee is £12 per year, per student.
- Cancellation: If you need to cancel your attendance, please inform us in advance via the class booking system.
- Refusal of Service: We reserve the right to refuse service under certain circumstances, such as non-compliance with dojo or health and safety rules.
Classes and Participation
- Class Schedule: Information about class times and dates is available on our website.
- Safety and Conduct: Participants are expected to adhere to safety guidelines and conduct rules as outlined by our instructors.
- Liability: While we take utmost care, participation in karate classes is at your own risk. Shinboku Karate is not liable for any injuries sustained during classes.
Misuse and Abuse
- Prohibitions: Misuse of our facilities, disrespectful behaviour towards instructors or participants, or violation of dojo rules is strictly prohibited.
- Consequences: Such behaviour may result in exclusion from the class or termination of service without refund.
